    Well, given that the OP was the one that brought up the issue of how the hair is obtained and also brought up what DNA the badger has, I'd say the OP pretty much made it relevant.

    Could you ask this gentleman to supply some pictures of this badger farm? I am afraid that's the only way to deal with the scepticism of many here.
