    I totally agree. I brought my evenly cheap Ω boar brush to its final resting place (the trash bin) after 12+ years of usefulness. I than got a nice (and even cheaper) one from De Vergulde Hand, but unfortunately its cheap wooden handle could not withstand a single stay in the shower. The Omega had a polycarbonate handle and no problems with this. Mind you, this was before I started straight shaving, I would not dare to do that in the shower
    Now I have one from Kent that is ok, but a bit too big for my taste actually. It does the job, but I'll get myself another Ω in the future!
