    Wow, that is good stuff right there. I've been thinking of doing something along those lines, but I must admit that what you have made is much nicer than what I had in my head. Time to revise my plans.

    I wonder, how did you carve out the area for the knot?

    I actually used a forstner drill bit for the knot hole... sorry if I was unclear... I carved the shape of the brush with rasps and sandpaper after drilling the knot hole.

    what size drill bit was that im not familary with a forstner, and that is very nice work. it is alot different then your run of the mill stuff. how that gets me thinking now a good thing lol and thanks for sharing

    Forstners just leave a flat hole instead of a cone shaped hole.. I used a 1" bit... for a 26mm this bit would work well too.
