lets see your brush and bowl/mug combo.
I just put together a combo that I think looks pretty sweet. Does anyone else try to match their brush to their bowl? If so then lets see them. I wanna see what other cool setups others have come up with. I'll start.I found the brush at an antique show.I think it had dog hair for the bristles.Promptly ripped them out and ordered a knot for it. I think it turned out well. The bowl I happened across another antique place. Both are solid brass.

My grandma what a big scuttle you have. Do the handles get in the way?

I got the knot from ( the golden nib.com). It is a 20 mm silvertip. As far as instructions I read up on the forums because it did not come with any.

Bowl & Brushes
This is my meager outfit.2 Brushes I restored by buying vintage brushes and replacing the knots.Bowl is from the dollar store but is a good size, just wish it had an inside top rim or more vertical sides. The search for a good bowl continues.Made the snurdle dipper from an old butter knife.Learned that trick from a Gssixgun post.

Yep,it's a way to get just the right amount of cream(a snurdle, about the size of an almond)without using your finger or estimating it on your brush.
