Default hmm...do you guys do this?

so im just browsing around here trying to kill some time before i enjoy dinner and a la gloria cubana figurado cigar and i saw this section that showed how to get a good lather step by step.

what i saw was the brush soaking in a shave bowl, and soap in its own dish, then draining out most of the water in the shaving bowl and making a lather with the left over water.

i always just and have been for over a year now, letting my brush soak in a glass then squeezing the brush but leavng it a little more wet so i can just go right to the shaving mug where the soap i leave in it just sits, mix up a lather and get on with it.

have i been doing it wrong. hahaha no wonder why the col conk pewter mug caddies a ceramic insert.

There are a lot of way to get a good lather. The one you described is just an effective way of doing it. Yours is also good... the important thing is to get a good lather. You can lather in a bowl, on a dish, on your hand, in a mug, on your face or with your hands, you name it... if it works, it works.
