I would be careful about dipping the brush that far in the epoxy, it is rather thick and before the brush base would absorb it I think it would harden into a mess. Trust the knot. The only problem I've heard about these knots are about the 26mm shedding excessively. You might get in touch with 2 sharp, he's the one who had the problem.
Give it a shot, it's fun!!

Good work!! I've been thinking of getting a lucite handle to restore but wasn't sure if I would like the look. I'm now in the market, thanks!
Austexshaver, I'm glad to see you on top of this Uk knot versus standard knot comparison! I'm dying to hear from someone with first hand experience.
Just as a note I've mentioned on another thread I am having shedding and stench problems with a 24mm knot from golden nib. I am waiting to see if it will work itself out.Last edited by flampen85; 03-10-2009 at 10:59 PM.
