Thread: Dirty Bird scuttle

I've been using my scuttle for two weeks now, and I love it!
For those of you who are considering a scuttle, Julie Moore is an artist.The Dirty bird is a perfect size for me.I use a medium size brush, and that makes it possible to build lather in the inner chamber.Its really nice to have warm lather on all three passes.I also believe that the hot lather improve the shave itself.
The scuttle wount keep the lather hot for 30 min, if you are a slow shaver.But there is no problem filling new water on during the shave, without destroing the lather.I just can't recomend this scuttle highly enough!

I have a $10 water boiler from Target. I have hot lather for as long as I want. Julie told me not to worry about putting boiling water in a room temperature DB Scuttle...though I usually preheat with hot tap water.

Love my scuttle and can't imagine shaving without it.
