josh go to crab tree & evelyn and get a brush there.
it may not be silver tip but dude its the best bang for your buck and its what i use.

josh just grab the basics now at a low cost
to see if you like srs-ing first then upgade.

I agree, start basic. My brush with stand came to $28 US. It's a nice brush, but for harder soaps, it takes work to make a good lather. I've got a boar brush ordered for that purpose.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.
