That is really nice, I recently decided GP is my favorite scuttle. Did they do the color to your specifications ?

It is weird about the color. I was torn between two colors the Hamada and Blue or the Hamada I went ahead and ordered the Hamada and Blue. Well as you can see it is a lot more of a mix of the 2 colors than they show on there web site. I kinda got the best of both worlds it has a real dark bottom and the lighter blue top. But it was not custom it was just pure luck (kinda like they could read my mind ) Seeing how they are hand done I knew it would be a little different color than the picture. But I can tell you I don't think I could have ever been happier with the way it turned out.

Well that is pretty cool because Im stuck on those colors as well and have been looking at them on there website. I guess since they are handmade no two are going to be alike, I will be ordering one soon , I cant wait to see what mine comes out like.

I would not call them handmade. They are slip-cast in plaster moulds, which is a quick and easy way to produce identical shapes. It is the glazes that make them look different.
Handmade pottery in my opinion means thrown on a potter's wheel.

Very true Oskar, I should have said since they are glazed by hand no two will look alike

Ya i figured the scuttle was a cast, the color is what I was talking about being done by hand. I might be wrong on that as well though. Either way I am very happy with it!
