    Default $13.95 Badger Brush

I just got some email from tweezerman that had a badger brush for $13.95. I haven't used these and I have a good badger brush. I didn't know if this would be a good starter brush for members. Has anyone ever used these and have some feedback?

I have and use one -- if you don't mind the occasional hair falling out in the sink (happens about once every 3 shaves) they are an incredible value.

Hair fell out good for the first month then dropped off. I like mine, and worth every penny.

I haven't yet tried one, however I will within the next three days. My wife read a lot of reviews and ordered one for my birthday.
I can't complain she hasn't gone wrong yet. She found me some great vintage blades.

I will give a report as soon as I test drive. In the mean time I too am wondering about its performance.

Sounds like that is a thumbs up. I think I paid about 5 or 6 bucks for my first badger brush from walgreens and that certainly isn't anything to write home about. Sounds like you have a good wife out there. I just need to find a woman to shop for razors for me on the internet and I will be set.

I'm a devoted Tweezerman brush fan. Mine has been going strong for about a year and a half now. It shed an extremely small number of hairs at the very beginning (<20) and I only see a hair in the shaving bowl once every few months. Essentially no shedding. I flick mine dry after a good rinse and set mine upright on the handle end. I think it's an amazing value for the money and expect to keep using mine for years to come.

another fan here. great brush. a bit on the small side now that i have been using some others, however still a great brush. sometimes the finish can be a bit inconsistent from brush to brush, but it is a $15 brush. you cannot go wrong for the money.

look around and you might find one locally and not have to pay for shipping. highly recommended as a 2nd or 3rd brush.

    good luck.

    +1 for this

Good small brush to keep in rotation and to take with the travel too. Not too expensive if notice at home "where's my brush?"

I have a Tweezerman. It was my first badger brush and a great step up from the Wal-Mart special I started out with. Taught me what later was verse foam. I had no dissatisfaction with it UNTIL I got a much more expensive Shavemac. To be expected, I suppose. Now I like a much larger knot. Still, great bang for the buck. Gives you a good option if you need a brush to travel with or leave at work.
