    Default Dangerous Permission

So I said to my wife over breakfast that I was torn over which brush to buy, that I could spend $60 on a good brush that I would likely be happy with OR I could spend $100 on a brush that would likely be perfect and that I didn't know what to do. She told me I should spend the C note and get what I really want.

I'm thinking of waiting a few days and telling her I found an even better $200 brush and see what she says.

Just get the $200 brush - she did say to get what you want, after all...

This is both good news and bad news. From my experience if she lets you spend $100, she has already spend 3x that and you just don't know yet

i second the $200 brush option, just get it over with, plus the little man can go without diapers for a while - builds character and true manliness.

"Its easier to ask forgiveness then it is to get permission"

But its even easier if she doesn't notice the charge on the credit card bill...

Go for it. She said it, it can't be UNSAID.

My wife last night gave me a $100 budget for shaving goods this month...which means something, somewhere, has gone terribly wrong. I'm waiting for the police to show up.

Since I'm the stay-at-home and get to clean the messes, I'll spend the money on diapers TYVM. Besides, we use mainly cloth so their already paid for.
