    Default Shaving boxes?

I thought that there was a thread a few months back about someone planning to make shaving boxes for travel. The search function didn't help since "box" is too short and "shaving" is in about every post.

Does anyone remember the thread, and did any boxes get made?

I'd love to have one of these types of boxes for camping, but don't have the time/tools/skills to make one myself.

    Thanks,

    - Mark (S-4-C)

Yeah, Tim can make damn near anything you want... and at a very reasonable price for custom stuff too.

Do it, you know you want to... how cool would that be if you had a custom made shaving box? Huh?

    Default Stupid question

    What's a shaving box?

Seriously, though... What parameters would define a good shaving box for you? Just a (wooden?) box that will hold a str8, a brush and some soap? Presumably it would hold it all securely...

Are there antiques out there for examples?

I knew I'd get an answer if I just asked.

Tim, I'm going to have to get with you sometime to get some plans/pricing for one of those beauties.

    Thanks guys.

I have an antique. It smells old too. I don't even use it, came with some razors I bought. I can post pics if theres enough interest.

Basically it has a mirror, some sort of over-flap and then a storage compartment. Its mildly interesting. Can't see much use for it except as a travel box. Hmm, maybe thats what its for...
