    Default Unexpected Brush Upgrade

I found a nice way to upgrade from my Tweezerman brush today.

Being a good husband and father, I went to C&E to pick up some nice things for Mother’s day on Sunday. When the sales associate was ringing up my items she mentioned that I got a $35 gift card for spending $70 (?) or more in the store that day. It took me about 2 seconds to ask for a boxed, ivory-handled badger brush to take advantage of that gift card.

This is one of the few win-win situations that I’ve wandered into by accident. My wife now has gifts from me and the girls, and I get a nice new shaving brush.

All because I wanted to be sure I didn’t forget my wife on Mother’s day.

    Well, I *WAS* at C&E...

I admit I went straight to the shaving stuff before picking up the stuff for my wife. I just didn't plan on purchasing the brush when I went in.

    Serendipity.
