It seems virtually all vintage Everready brushes I've seen are in the 100, 200 or 300 series with some variation. I saw an old barbering catalog page posted some time ago that revealed that at the time, the 100 series were a $1, the 200 series were $2, etc.

I have an Everready 836A. It's got a square embossed above the 836A and below the 836A is has an "A".

I don't know what it's made of, it's black on top and cream on the bottom with a black base. The cream handle feels like a cue ball and is very dense. Much more dense than celluloid or typical plastic. It's a heavy brush handle. I drilled out the bristles quite some time ago but have not replaced the knot yet.

Does anyone else have such a series of Everready?

Thanks.
