Default Sterling Silver Apollo Soap Dish

I was rummaging through a pile of stuff at an antique store. The place isn't organized and I doubt they now what they have but I found a treasure. It's an Apollo Shaving Soap Dish with a hanger for a brush.
I did some checking and it looks to be close to 100 years old from what I found on a website that does reproductions of Apollo Sterling products. They were made in Italy.
I've never seen anything like it and wanted to share it with everyone. It has a few small faded places but in good shape for as old as it is.

Very nice. Is the bowl part removable? I'm wondering if you can put hot water in the lower part and use it like a scuttle.

The bowl part does come out which I imagine was made that way to take the cup out to make it easier to use when shaving. It's hollow underneath the bowl.
