    Default First brush

So, i just picked up my first shave brush at a flea-market the other day. for $5! It's seems to be barely used if at all. An Ever-Ready 1500.

This is my first so i'm not sure how i compares to others but it is a whole heck-of-a lot better than tryin' to work shave cream up on your face with your hands. a lot slicker and i can work more water into it so it doesn't dry out on my face.

I'll be honest i would prefer a synthetic (vegan) brush, but it was second-hand, so i don't feel so bad about it and i know it will potentially last a long time. and i'm only a little grossed out by it. also, i need to watch my outgo, considering my income.

(sorry they're a little dull i should have brightened the pics before i uploaded them)

I really like the handle of that brush. The brush itself doesn't look to worn and should last a long time. If you wanted it would make a good candidate for resetting a new knot. Let us know how it lathers up.

I wouldn't be worried how it compares to others. Its a great starter brush and will do the job.

It looks great! My pure badger brush lathers better than my super badger so don't feel like you have a below par brush. It will get the job done nicely.

I was just about to say the same thing! I have a cheap brush and it works great and I have absolutely no intention of changing it.

    Just enjoy it.
