Sculpted 28mm Silvertip in redwood lace burl
Hey everyone, here is my latest brush offering. This one is a 28mm silvertip set into a beautiful piece of redwood lace burl.
I went with an epoxy finish for durability and water-resistance, and I really think that it was the right choice.
I got a bit creative with the sculpting this time, and I like how it turned out.
here you go
This time I decided to take a bunch of pictures of the process... and then I thought I'd turn it into a wiki tutorial for those of you who would care to look. No lathe Brush tutorial
Thanks guys, hope you like it

This one looks great!
One question, does it stand to dry, or do you hang it upside down?

Very nice... I love burl wood, but I must say that with your brush design and carving, it's just stunning

That's a beautiful brush! Quite an achievement without a lathe to get the basic shape too.
