    Default Olivewood 24mm longboy Brush

here is my newest. 5.25 handle, 24mm knot made from a 6 inch olivewood blank. i wanted to do a longer handled brush for a while, and here it is. i love the contrasting layers within this handle. beautiful. and i tried to keep the shape something more traditional(less out there man!!!).

knot height is 2.33in, handle is 5.25 totaling just a bit over 7.5in long. great for those deep mugs and just cool looking. finish is wipe on poly, knot is epoxied in.

    comments welcomed.

That is gorgeous. I love how the bristles seem to almost flow out of the wood.

Very nice Vgod. Now you have to figure out how to make a brush stand for it.

That's a beauty! Looks fantastic & it's certainly impressive. I'll bet it'd make a great pastry brush too!

    Really nice work D!

Size and shape of handle kinda remind me of a barbers brush that they clean the stray hairs off of you with!
