I have the biggest size Schwarzweiss for about a month or maybe 2 and it works well for creams as well as soaps, and although my tiny Tweezerman seems to get lost in the scuttle, it works. My main brush is an XL Edwin Jagger best badger, which is the biggest they've got. Also works very well.

I got my scuttle last night!

I brought it in the shower with me today, and let it soak with hot water on the edge of the tub to get warmed up. When I got out of the shower I filled it with near boiling water and started to lather. The ridges in the bottom of the bowl make the lather whip up really quickly compared to my old mug. I was planning on taking extra time today to get the best lather I could and in no time at all I had a good thing going! When I applied the lather I was shocked at how warm it was...it wasn't warm it was HOT! It felt terrific. I'm hooked.
