Thanked: 158Are you planning on using this strictly for lathering after loading up your soap, or holding your soap? If I remember correctly they have a little indentation at the bottom for holding the soap.
This looks pretty similar to the ones in C&E (most likely are the same considering Jagger makes C&E's brushes). I've been in the store, held it in my hand, thought it was pretty and it seemed well made, but I ultimately decided it wasn't really for me. Sure, it would look great on the side of the sink, but I just thought that my money could be better spent elsewhere (like on more creams and soaps!). I've found that there are other things out there that are just as pretty, are better served for the purpose of either holding shave soap or lathering, and cost less. IMO, these bowls just aren't worth the extra money.

Thanked: 158Just thought that I would add that I'm mostly a face latherer, but I use a bowl when I use creams. Here is what I use: IKEA | Coffee & tea | Mugs & cups | FRUKOST | Cup
I like it. It was cheap, it's a good size, and it has a handle. Plus, if you only spend $4 there's an extra $26 left to spend on a nice soap in a wooden bowl, which would also look really good on the counter! Good luck in whatever you choose!
