Thanked: 29Anyone selling empty brush handles?
I don't have access to a lathe nor have the skill to use one but would like to assemble my own brush... Gluing a knot into a premade handle doesn't seem like much but I like the idea. Is anyone selling empty handles? I would be looking for something in the 24-28mm range, 26 would be about right I think.

seems like a silly idea, but the bits of wood that are used to cap curtain poles are perfect for this. you can usually find some pretty nice ones in your hardware store for not a lot of $$

Thanked: 137I'd also be interested in this if anyone's selling them - I want a longer handle but nothing at my local hardware/art store is long enough for me to modify it into a brush.
