    sure would just getting the time seems to be the issue. i got a mandel now so i can predrill it nice and center.

    It's a fine brush. You did a great job on it. If you'd like to compare mistakes sometime I'll be happy to show you bigger screw-ups that I've won awards with. We are always guilty of the same thing. Because we are so close to our work we know every aspect, every little flub. Things no one on the planet would ever see. When I teach I always tell people how we will stand in front of a beautiful dresser we spent a half a year of our lives on and when someone says, "Wow, you made that? It's fantastic!" Our response is always, "Oh yea, it's pretty good. Except for right here I F'd up this corner." And of course now that is all the viewer can see about it, something they wouldn't have seen if we didn't call their attention to it. Julia Child used to say, (If you were standing before me I would say this in my best Julia Child accent) "Never apologize for your cooking. Most people don't know what it's supposed to taste like anyway."
