Razor Storage Box
Some time ago, I designed a disply box that I intended to make. I would hold 7 razors and have a glass cover so they'd show when it was closed. I went to the nearest Rockland wood supply to get some wood to start the project and to my amazement, there in the front of the store was exactly what I wanted to make! It was designed for hand-turned pens but it fits my razors perfectly! Unlike what I might find in an antique shop or on ebay, I can pick up another one either from the store or their website, as my collection grows! Of course, now I don't get the enjoyment of making one but that's OK. I have plenty of other projects to work on.

Thanked: 20Quite beautiful. I'm working on one but man on man, its a pain the "nalgas." I've decided to go with Asian lace wood but after seeing this one I may just opt for a pre-made. Congrats on your buy!

You couldn't find it because I gave you the wrong name. It' Rockler, not Rockland. You can find it here: 7-Pen Display Case - Rockler Woodworking Tools Sorry about the confusion.

Thanked: 6I have the same box...except I lined the bottom with another layer of black felt and position the razors horizontally across the box thus allowing for my longer razors to have enough room...
Buy this box...

It does look nice. I may put one in my basket just to see what the shipping costs are like.

How large a razor would you say it will hold? Inquiring minds must know!

That is very nice. Thanks for posting the pictures. That is a great way to display and store your razors. I might see about getting one of those myself once I have a few more razors.
