Ah memories of Sigma Chi.....not that I attended Cornell, but my two brothers did. I went to Boston U. and learned to drink coffee in mugs that size before going on the air at WTBU.
You may find using a mug that large for your soap, that you get too much air in the foam. Just my thoughts.

Do you happen to know Rockledge at all? Thats my frat. Sig Chi is a bunch of fun- the Tour de Franzia is epic. (Franzia=that cheap wine that comes in boxes...)
