My First Scuttle
Today my wife surprised me with this little hideous beauty that she found while antiquing. It seems nice and not too bad for my first non-red-neck-scuttle.

Cool! Is the top big enough to put a cake of soap in it? Do you build the lather in the top? Seems like that would be hard with the hole.

I thought the hole is for the excess water to drain under so the soap does not get mushy?

It does fit a cake and I fear that building lather on it will be difficult. If it all fails, it will be a platform for loading and jumping into facelathering.
