super badger brushes
I was perusing a site on eboy today. A vender up in Ontario,Canada selling fancy brushes and stuff. According to him Silver tip badger is not the best grade but in fact there is something called super silvertip. Supposedly you can tell the difference because the tips are transparent. Its supposedly very rare and hard to obtain. Has anyone ever heard of this stuff or does this sound like malarky?
I wonder if there is any practical difference in the stuff. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Here's a couple of links from SMF where this was discussed to exhaustion:

You may notice a few holes in the threads...things got a bit heated and a few posts were properly deleted.

Well, I read those posts and I'm not going to start that mess here now but I just thought it was interesting that this particular brushmaker made reference to a super silvertip which incidentally wasn't touched on in those forum posts based on the definition he gave of the stuff and the descriptions thoise forum posters gave.

I'm quite partial to my Super-mega-ultra-uncorruptable-phantasmo badger brush.
A little levity for a heated debate?
