Knot Buying
So it is common knowledge that The Golden Knib sells lovely badger knots in a variety of sizes, grades, and densities. But... Does anyone know where to find quality BOAR knots? I want to do some brush making, but I am a big boar fan.

Ditto. I recently picked up a scuttle off ebay that's really pretty nice with the exception that the bowl is 4+inches deep and pretty narrow making it hard to get the water in the bottom worked into the lather. I was going to pick up some acrylic acetate from one of the pen making sites and have my dad turn me a handle (I've got some tools but it'd be easier for him considering he's got the lathe). I'm fine with the badger hair brushes but I kind of prefer the coarser quality of the boars brushes I've used so far (mostly the el-cheap-o but hey). If someone's got a line on boar knots please share with us.

Yeah he has boars also, I recommend his shop, I got an A grade silvertip and could not be happier with it. I should post a picture actually!

I think you will be among the first here to have gotten a boar form his place Why not send Tony an email via his website? He seems to reply faster than you can type the email in the first place, very helpful.
