Thanked: 8Different, but effective hot shave water
It seems to me that I'm picking up on a common thread(no pun intended) here that everyone likes a hot brush, lather, shave. I personally think that hot lather on my face in the morning is one of the greatest ways to start the day. Now maybe I'm the Lone Ranger on this, but to accomplish that, I have been using a baby food warmer. It is a little device about 8 inches in diameter, and about 8-10 inches tall, and has a small well to pour water in, which it then heats to boiling so that your baby bottle gets warmed w/o going in the microwave. I used it to heat hide glue for carpentry, but now I use it to heat water for my brush, and my soap mug fits on top of it and keeps my lather piping hot as well. It only takes about a minute and a half to heat up about 6 oz. of water, which is plenty, and will keep it boiling until I turn it off. Anyway, I hope this proves helpful, or at least interesting to someone.

That, my friend, is a great idea! now I just have to find where the wife put the old bottle warmer.

I like the idea. I use a candle warmer which is large enough for bigger mugs. It takes about 5 minutes to heat up enough but I start it first so it's ready when I am. May have to find a bottle warmer just to check it out. Thanks again.
Sammer if you are in St.Louis have you thought about going to Mid Mo Meetup? Yes I'm off topic but it's not too far out I-70 from you.
