    Default Sweet 18

Here is a new series of shaving brushes coming off the lathe. The Sweet 18, they are long & slender, handles about 3" topped with a 18mm Silvertip Grade A knot, thanks for looking and any comments.

I've heard it referred to as Dymondwood or Diamondwood. It's a laminated plywood material where each layer of wood is dyed. I agree it looks very cool.

Yes Dymondwood is correct, laminated dyed woods pressed together and infused with resin to make a very hard dense stable wood.

Makes nice gun stocks. Got a fist full of pen blanks as well. Takes a sharp bit to drill out and hard to turn but it polishes out like glass.

    Gentlemen,

These brushes so attractive that they dare even make a non-gentleman shaver stop and take a second look. Well done.
