Does anyone have this brush? If so what are your thoughts/opinions on it? I don't have any silvertip brushes, and I would want one with an acrylic handle. Not that I can afford any more shaving equipment right now, but I figured it doesn't hurt to get the research out of the way

    Thanks,
    Brent

Also, are there any other silvertip brushes with acrylic handles around that you have used and would like to comment on?

Search the brush forum for "Semogue Poll" - I had a thread a couple of weeks back about this exact thing.

    Hello, Brent:

I have the Semogue 730HD silver tip with black and clear acrylic handle. Oh, my, this is a sweet brush. It is silky soft yet it puffs its chest. I love it.

I have two Semogue boar brushes as well and love them, too.

The Semogue 730HD silver tip receives a high mark from me.

    Regards,

    Obie

Well then we can consider it sold! (Well, when I actually get the money and buy it at least, hopefully a summer internship can help with that!)

By the way, I just visited your website and browsed around. I'm going to have to make it official: you, Obie, are a badass. Keep up the awesome.

    Hello, bknesal:

Bless your heart for the kind words, and thank you for visiting my website.

All my three Semogues, the two boars and the 730HD silver tip, are 22 mm., which is my favorite brush size. I have a 25 mm. badger "best" from Edwin Jagger and a 19 mm. badger "super" by Vulfix, and although both are fine brushes, one is too big for me and the other too small. All my other brushes are 22 mm. I like the 22 mm. neighborhood best.

By the way, in the next few days, time permitting, I will write a review of my Semogue 730HD silver tip with the black and clear acrylic handle. I love mine.

    Regards,

    Obie
