Are any of these good?

I've had two brushes from kebi2009 and both are fine for the money. In fact, they're more than fine for the money as they're a decent quality brush for a pretty cheap price.

Thanked: 235Just at a glance I can't see any reason why they wouldn't do the job.

They all appear to be decent brushes for the price. My only concern is that some of them may not be "Silvertip" as advertised. In my non-expert opinion they appear closer to Best or Pure Badger. But Silvertip? Probably not.

Comparing then to my other brushes they are silvertip, but the knots are a good bit slimmer. I have brushes by Kent, Edwin Jagger, Vulfix and a few knots from The Golden Nib. The Chinese brushes are not as good as any of those, but then you are paying a lot less for them.

I'll add my two cents to what jhenry said: probably not silvertip. It's not uncommon for pure badger to be dyed to look like silvertip. Does it matter? That's up to you.

Are Any of These Good?
My dear Salazch:
Forgive my ignorance — since I avoid Ebay as I do driving in the wrong direction on a one-way street — but such low prices for silver tip brushes blow an icy breeze up my spine.

Rather than "Not uncommon", I'd say it's close to SOP. I've read on another board that Simpsons and Vulfix have done this for years, because the natural hair isn't quite as striking as they think it should be.
As for the eBay brushes, I've heard quite a few people say they get fine brushes for low prices. They're Chinese-made, but then again so is everything else.
