Thread: Simpson Beaufort B4 - good ?

I can't find any reviews on the Simpson Beaufort B4.

Does it hold enough water for 3 latherings with the SRD soap ?

Is it stiff &/or prickly enough to irritate razor-burn susceptible areas on the neck ?

Anyone know how this $50 pure badger brush from Simpson compares to $35 best badger brush from Crabtree & Evelyn ?

I just finished shaving using my Simpson Beaufort 4. I use the SRD shaving soap and was able to make three passes over my face with the single but thorough preparation of my lather. I find the brush to be very soft and pleasant to use. Hope this helps you decide. I would consider it a very good brush. Enjoy
