    Default Dovo Brushes

Are Dovo brushes as good as their razors. The few prices I've seen online are pretty high and I don't see any on eBay.

Do they make a quality brush and were's the best and most cost effective place to buy one?

    Thanks.

I have a single Dovo brush in silvertip. It was the first brush that I ever bought. However, if I was looking for a new brush now, it wouldn't make the cut.

The hair is quite soft, and the loft is long, so it winds up being floppy. Mine has a 26mm knot, so when loaded it up, it was a huge bloom -- albeit soft and luxurious. The ebony handle got a crack in it, and it regularly sheds hair; though, these are most likely due to my own mishandling of the brush before I knew better.

For just a little more money, you could likely get two badger hair brushes in super and/or best grades from other makers.

I had the Dovo brush that comes with the Futur shave set. It was a good brush, but maybe a bit high in price. The price was about the only negative, however. It had soft tips, never lost a hair and the long handle was actually nice to use.

Hmm. I wonder if Dovo actually makes their own burshes or someone else actually makes them for Dovo.

I think your $$ can go further. Check out Shavemac
