Thread: Sterilizing Brush

Just as a matter of interest, the term "anti-bacterial soap" is redundant, but purposefully so. Manufacturers know that they can charge a higher price for something that is sold for a specific purpose. The stuff you pump on your hands to kill germs does the same job as the stuff that comes in a bar. It just costs more and some feel it's more convenient to use. For that matter, your shave soap should kill germs just as effectively.

You did not mention if it landed in clean or used water. Urine is sterile...well other things aren't. If it was clean water, well, it was clean water. Boiling or nuking your brush will ruin it.

I do the following every couple of months.

1. Rinse it out really well then wash it using good shampoo
2. Mix Barbercide properly and "pump" the brush so that it absorbs the Barbercide then let it sit in solution for about 2 minutes.
3. Rinse and then shampoo again.
4. Rinse and Rinse and then let it dry. You will be good to go.

Don't freak if the brush turns blue at the tips if you leave it in to long it will go back to its original color.

Get over it! There are people in the world that drink water that has more crap in it than most people in the modern world have in their toilets.
