Default The Body Shop Synthetic Shave Brush

Has anyone tried the body shop synthetic brush that sells for $11.00? Just curious what people's opinions were on it... I noticed the brush handle was made of wood, and didn't seem to have a lacquer finish or anything so I would be worried about the handle taking moisture and drying out so much over time that the handle might start to crack... Also just not sure how well the brush itself works... Any input would be appreciated.

I actually have one...was my first brush (my beautiful wife bought for me when I got into shaving) and since have got a nice merkur silvertip (again from wife ) I still use the Body Shop one once in awhile and for what it is it works quite well.

Its a nice brush for the price. Bristles are quite soft.

And yes, the handle does crack.

I keep one in my gym bag and it works great for that purpose - the bristles dry very quickly and since synthetic have 0 odor.

Not a great home brush though IMO

I had one. Left it in a motel & apparently a maid threw it out. I liked it for traveling, as it dried quickly & worked well w/ creams which are also easier to travel with. Didn't work as well w/ soap which is what I usually use at home. Decided not to replace it. I'll just take the cheap Tweezerman badger on the road now.
