I have a couple of little stainless steel bowls.
These work out quite nicely and best of all they
only cost $1.00 each. I like a bowl better than
a mug.

I prefer the room that I have with a bowl, but I still use a mug simply because its what I am used to and it just doesnt feel right with anything else. Plus its easier for me to store a mug in my small bathroom.
On the road right now I am using AOS cream in disposable cups, but when I run out of that I am going to use a soap that comes in one of those wooden bowls because mugs are just to big and bukly to travel with.

JL,
How about one of those little tupperware bowl
things made by Glad. They are cheap and leak
proof.

Great idea, I hadnt thought about that... I dont know if I can find one small enough to fit a shave soap nicely or pack in my dopp kit. I was thinking of getting one of the scents from saintcharlesshave.com in a wood bowl, its only $11.95 including the bowl and its refilable...I thought it was pretty reasonable.
I will have to see what sizes rubbermaid or tupperwear make...that would probably travel better if I could find the right size

I also use a stainless steel bowl... it's a mixing bowl! Lots of room, and my favorite feature...when the lather begins to cool, I just tilt it and run hot water over the bottom...warms things right up!

JL,
What I was talking about will be with the sandwich bags.
These were made for packing lunches. I think they make
some that would work out just fine.
