Ive been using one since I started shaving with a straight. I couldnt bring myself to pay for a full sized badger brush, when starting, so I chose the wee scott. I was a little taken aback when I opened the package and it finally occured to me why they named it what they did. Sometimes I will get low on lather towards the end of my shaves, since the wee scotts are too small to load up with loads of cream but I have never had to mix up a second batch, the bright side is that I am still on my first tub of cream about seven months in. I am stepping up a bit in size with my next brush, but the wee scott has been a fine brush and will probably be my travel brush once my 22mm thater arrives. Sorry I couldnt give a helpful comparison, I have only used the wee scott.

My first brush was a Allesse, TGQ carries them, Silver tip and very nice over all. It's the one on the right in the pic looks bigger here but it's a small bugger.

I have a Wee Scot that I bought a few years ago (whenever Cory Greenberg was blogging about how much he loved the WS). It works ok IMO, but it really is kind of a novelty. Overall I think it's just too small to be very usable on a daily basis.

Having said that, it's a well made brush and if you think you might like the size pick one up and give it a try. Brush size is like razor size in that your personal preference is probably the key factor you should pay attention to.

Good for you. I don't own a Wee Scot myself, but have heard good things about them.

As Bill noted, however, brushes and brush sizes are a very personal choice. After awhile you may find that you prefer a larger sized brush, especially if you have large hands.
