Thread: My 1st try at brush making

Well, here is my first attempt at making a brush. I got the knot from TGN (24mm) and the wood is Cherry. This is my first time ever using chisels, lathe, etc as I never took shop class. Overall I must say I am pretty pleased. I can't wait until I get to make some lather with it (I must wait 24 hours for the epoxy to set)!. I wanted a large handle to make using it with a scuttle easier (that and I like to have plenty to grab onto). Let me know what you guys think.
