Default keeping my boar brush soaking.. permanently

so i was thinking.. it takes forever for my boar brush to dry.. so why don't i just keep it wet? i was thinking of just washing it out after my shave and immersing it in a cup of clean water till i use it again.. does this sound like a stupid idea?

excellent mentoring my good man.. i myself couldn't really think of the reason why i wanted to do it in the first place.. perhaps the bristles would be extra moist? i dunno.. i guess i've got better things to do.

Sounds to me like a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to skin problems.

EDIT: As I'm not a mentor, feel free to disregard my advice!

Let me put it this way. If leaving a hone soaking in water leads to mold and all kinds of nasties growing on it imagine what will happen to a brush. You could add some chlorox but that would be a bad idea for a brush.
