    I've not tried either, but right now I'm a bit jealous of the chaps using Thäters. Having read the reviews, if I was in the market, I'd get one over anything else right now.

    I voted for the Savile Row.
    I have a Thäter 25mm silver tip, and it does not quite live up to it's reputation in my opinion.
    I have several other silver tips, that to me feels better.

    If it were me choosing, I'd take the Thater because I have a 26 and love it, but the Saville Row is an unknown (I have not tried it). I'd rather buy a brush I already know I'll love than one I'm not really sure about.

    Let me be the first to say that, having only tried one, I'm not qualified to advise for what someone else should buy, but I can answer the question of which I would choose for myself.

    The Saville Row has a good reputation though I have not used one. Isn't it manufactured by another big company?

    I do have a Thater Chubby 3 and think it's a great brush.

    I am not sure...you may be right. I think I saw a video of someone comparing different brushes and they were saying something along those lines...but, memory seems to have gotten the better of me...can't recall if I was dreaming or really saw this video

    I am curious what your experience with the Thater was? too stiff of backbone, too floppy, too soft/hard. Just curious
