    Default Cheap brush ideas...

I went to Meijer and bought the $5 dollar shaving brush and I think more hair fell out then stayed in when I used it. It was bad.
Anybody know where to find the best brush without spening $55 or $60?
Maybe $20 or less. Or doesnt that brush exist? Thanks!

As mentioned, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc will have a brush for under $10. If you want to splurge a little over your budget, you could order something like this:

Amazon.com: Omega Stripey 100% Pure Badger Shaving Brush with Stand - Made in Italy - FREE SHIP!: Health & Personal Care

I checked at Target and they didn't have any. Maybe they were just out of stock that day. I'll have to check again, thanks!
FBones24 I like that brush... you're right its a little over my budget but I really want that one. I'll have to run it by the wife :l

If you like boar or horse for about $20 there should be plenty of choices out there. Check out the Vulfix at Classic Shaving. Try the Vielong horse some guys have been talking about.

Worth getting two, except they do not wear out.

I am tempted to replace the knot in one, upgrading it
to Badger from Boar. I will try it some day....

    Hello, Rugesters:

Thebigspendur has excellent suggestions. To that, I will add the Edwin Jagger brushes, which are quite good in that price range, give or take a couple bucks.

    Regards,

In the beginners wiki section one of the brushes it suggests is a tweezerman badger brush, I think it's $16. I've got the Van Der Hagen boar brush that nifty posted above, it was $5 for mine, and I'm satisfied with it.
