Help With Brush Decision
Okay gents I need some help, advice, and comments.
I would like a fat, dense silvertip badger brush. Preferably with a clear acrylic handle or flat metal handle, but this is not necessary. I've looked at a few places and have yet to be impressed.
Hit me with your best shot.

Thanked: 66hmm..I have seen silvertips..but my wallet looks the other way..lol!..they are pricey
Personally..I would go with what me n my wife use..Country Uncle Badger brushes 24mm..about $30 n last ya MANY years..been more than 3 for us both..I think it is possible for the "silvertips" to fall out at some point.. but then again..by then you may need something else anyways!

I appreciate the input, but for the sake of this thread I am pretending price does not matter. In actuality, price does matter, but I want to at least know what to shoot for. And I haven't treated myself to something pricey in quite a while, so I figure I might as well check it out.

Brent, I'm assuming you're in the USA and looking at the Thater on SRD ? If that is correct give Don a call. The # is on the webpage and he can give you the exact info on the dimensions etcetera.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Go with the clear handle
My personal preference is neither...I like the solid wood (Olive wood, Cocobolo, etc) with the nickel base. But, if you were to twist my arm hard into choosing between black and clear handle, I would go with the clear handle
Don;t agonize over this too much...regardless of which one your choose today, chances are that you'll be buying another one in the intermediate future. So, go ahead...toss the die and take a chance. It's 50:50. You will not go wrong either way.
