Thread: Official I am a dummy...help

Bought scuttle(see pic) can someone tell me step by step how to use it. Has 6 holes on top of "lid" and my brush does fit.

Sorry for request,but I have never seen this "working "

I'm not exactly sure if this is correct or not, but this is what I do...

1. Fit a soap cake into the top of the scuttle (over the 6 holes you speak of). Preferrable, a soap cake that's cut for a scuttle like this . I'm not recommending this soap, as I haven't tried it, just showing the shape. I have a cake from Chelsea's Soap Garden on Ebay.
2. Fill the base up with very hot water.
3. Soak your brush in the pour hole, try not to let it fall down into the scuttle.
4. Gather up a good amount of soap on your brush and whip up to lather consistancy on your face.
5. You can either store your brush back in the water, or place upside down to stand by for your next pass.
