Default Is this brush pure badger or silvertip?

I went into a CM store today and saw this brush that looks like silvertip to me, and the CM rep said it was silvertip, but the price and the website seem to say its pure badger. Any ideas? Anyone have this brush? The size is perfect, but it doesnt say what the knot size is so I cant compare prices to another brush. All I can say is that the brush would just fit into a large mug without leaving much room to spare. Anyway, what do you think? http://www.caswellmassey.com/shoppin...iProductID=768

    JL,

It's a nice looking brush, and from the pic, you would think silvertip. But the listing says "pure" badger. Now, this may not be a rating, just that it is badger and no boar mix. However, if you are going to drop that much coin on a brush, I would suggest checking with Bernd at Shavemac. I would also suggest a knot size in the 24-26 range. I have 4 Shavemac brushes, in 23mm, 24mm and 2 26mm. Love them everyone. One other person to check with is Lee at LeesRazors.com. Lee carries the Simpson's line...high quality brushes, and he stocks a number that are not on his website. I'm about to jump in for a Persian Jar 2. Mention to Lee that you are a SRP member and ask if he has any specials. And tell him I sent you.
