    Default Two Re-Knotted RV Brushes

Had a little project going yesterday with two of my beloved RV brushes. The large one is a early RV 28mm silvertip. It's always felt a bit floppy so i just re-knotted with a new 28mm TGN silvertip and set it deeper at 50mm loft. Big improvement.

The small one is in black buffalo horn and was sporting a Semogue 1305 knot, but after me bying a Semogue 830 it didn't see much action so I re-knotted it with a 20mm TGN finest two band, fan shape set at 40mm loft.

I was thinking of re-doing my brush. Where did you get your supplies?

It depends on what tools You have at hand. I cut the old knot with a serrated knife. Then used a drill press to get out most of the glue and hair, cleaned and deepened the hole with a Dremel and glued in new knots with 4 hour epoxy. Did both brushes in about 3 hours + epoxy drying time.
