Thanked: 198yipeeeee
well, after awaking from my morning nap, i walked downstairs, and opened my package from canada, my semogue 1305 had arrived. had to fight the urge to run up to my bathroom straight away and try it out, but i did make it till about 5 pm then i hit the shower, and had the brush soaking. now i know why most of the boar brush lovers consider them the better brushes, wow it was nice, i am glad i decided to get that one.

'Keep hearing how good they are
I have an 830 en route from Jeffe. 'Can't wait to try. The omegas I've tried are okay. They work, but not up to the job a 60y.o. EveryReady can do.
It'll take some break-in, may smell like animal, but a few washings w/ shampoo & it'll come around. I keep reading 2-4wks of use is needed before they fully bloom w/ split ends.
Post again w/ how you like it at first, and then maybe a month later.

WV what's the verdict?
Torrid romance, or still hungry?
I got the 830 from the honorable Jeffe. I love it. It's supposed to be a 1305 w/ a fancy handle. 'So much like a badger, but holding a bit less water (easily remedied by a quick dip).
I prefer a fairly stiff, scratchy feel for face lathering, so I'm still wanting to try a 620, which is supposedly not the grade of hair of the 1305/830, but a shorter loft - combining to be more stiff, scratchy. Many don't like the scratchy feel, but after that EverReady, I do.
'Hope the brush puts as many smiles on your face as it does lather.
