    TGN knot 23mm with a 77mm loft silvertip with “extra hair”.

    That is one fine looking shaving brush, Bruce, grats. The other, browner one also is gorgeous, is that the same wood?

    Love that yew wood,I have an english longbow made from yew wood and its my favorite!!

    The purple one is a spare handle made up from a different piece of yew.
    Beejay gave me the option of three, then shipped one with the knot and one without the knot.

    All three are beautiful pieces of wood (first pic) and I too would be happy with any of the bunch. That said though - IMHO the center one, the one you chose and had knotted, is the most stunning of the bunch. Congrats on your new brush, a wonderful reward for your efforts to 'turn lemons into lemonade'... and kudos to Beejay on both his craftsmanship and professionalism.
