    Default Hand-Me-Downs

Digging around for camping gear at the ranch this week turned up some of my mothers squerreled away boxes that she forgot she had. Mostly old stuff from moves 40 some odd years ago... but in that box where 2 boar brushes, an Ever Ready 300 and Opal brush. While the Opal is the most stable of the two the Ever Ready 300 (feels better), but has a loose knot.

Being that these are my moms old brushes I intend on keeping them, but have a strong desire to replace the Ever Ready knott and use it

I'll clean em up a bit and post pics, I tried a search for these but came up empty..

Here are the two brushes I dug up The one on the left is tight and all but seems lacking in the hand. Just doesn't feel good. The second one, on the right, feels good enough that I may use it. However the knot that is in it was loose. I'm thinking it would be nice to fix it and add it to the rest of my Heirloom set for later generations

So, beside needing to clean it, what do I need to do to rebuild this brush??
