Early Christmas Present

I got my Christmas present a bit early. My new scuttle from Dirty Bird arrived today. I contacted Julie a few weeks ago, asking if she had something a bit larger than her 1.5 scuttle. Not that there's anything wrong with the 1.5, it's fine, and plenty big. I just wanted more room to play. She told me she had a "Double Scuttle", so I had her fire it up for me..I was blown away when I seen this thing...I haven't checked yet, I'm betting it holds 4+ cups of water, easy, The opening is a tad over 6 inches, and almost 4 inches deep, I should be able to whip up enough lather to shave the neighborhood.......Here's some pics...

From left to right: GTP G5 scuttle, DB 1.5 Scuttle, and the DB Double Scuttle....

Wow, that thing is HUGE! Perfect for a 28mm brush, I imagine...

...or for shaving the neighbors.

That is an impressive Christmas gift for you. Well deserved.

The Dirty Bird double scuttle is massive. Good heavens, you can use broom for a brush in that thing. Ah, my friend, but that is a scuttle for champions. I can imagine the glorious lather you can make in it. An excellent choice.

By the way, I have ordered the 1.5 from Dirty Bird in the same color scheme as your double scuttle. Mine will not be ready for several weeks. This after buying a scuttle from another maker recently and finding it thoroughly disappointing.
