    Default Ever Ready 150 Restoration

My grandma recently learned that I shaved with a straight, brush, and mug so she gave me my grandpa's Old Spice shaving mug and Ever Ready boar brush that he used their entire mariage before he passed away. I was really excited to get them, unfortunately she gave away his straight to a family member who probably pawned it years ago. I just restored it with a 22x63 finest badger knot from TGN. The shipment was very fast and the knot arrived in great condition. It's a great feeling to be able to put my grandpa's shaving equipment to use. This is my first restoration and overall I am pleased with the results. The knot makes a great lather.

I can see the connection between you and your grandfather as you use his brush. Good job on the restoration. Too bad about his straight razor...

It's always very nice when you can use something passed down from your ancestors. It connects you to them.

Very nice to have things handed down to another generation.

    Enjoy!!!
